Reducing Waste through Digital Auctions
An application designed to facilitate the responsible management of assets that are no longer required, by putting them up for auction with the aim of extending their useful life, reducing waste and promoting a circular economy model within the organisation. The system incorporates a secure online payment process via Stripe, ensuring fast and traceable transactions.

The problem to be solved
The organisation needed a system that would enable it to manage surplus assets responsibly, avoiding waste and ensuring transparent and traceable processes. Existing solutions did not offer an integrated workflow for internal auctions and secure payments.
THE SOLUTION
What we have built
We have developed a web application based on Python/Django architecture, integrated with Stripe for payment processing and with AWS and Azure DevOps cloud services to ensure scalability, security and operational continuity. The system automates asset management, streamlines internal auctions and ensures reliable and immediate transactions.
